Obituary of Loretta Jewell Mosier

Bedford Loretta Jewell Mosier, 88, of Bedford, died at 1:26 am on Thursday, February 28, 2013 at I.U. Health Bedford Hospital. Born March 26, 1924 in Silverville, she was the daughter of Van and Eula I. (Wagner) Craig. She married Charles Otto Helton and he preceded her in death on April 17, 1982. She later married Robert S. Mosier on March 31, 1984 and he also preceded her in death on July 31, 2005. She was a homemaker and a member of the Englewood Baptist Church and Order of the Eastern Star of Solsberry. Survivors include a son, Charles Jack Helton of Bedford; two step-sons, Stan Mosier of Shoals and Steve Mosier of Williams; two step-daughters, Eva Smith of Bedford and Ginger Anderson of Danville, IL; one brother, Melvin Craig of Bedford; ten grandchildren; several great grandchildren; several great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, both husbands, two daughters, Connie Sue Edmonson and Claudia Jean Helton Ritchison Baughman; one son, Richard Lee Helton; one grandson, J.R. Helton; a granddaughter, Melissa Edmonson; three great grandsons; three step-brothers and two step-sisters. Funeral Information Graveside services will be conducted at 10:00 am on Tuesday, March 5th at Cresthaven Memory Gardens with Rev. David Ferry officiating. Burial will follow. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Monday, March 4th and from 9:00 am until 9:30 am on Tuesday, March 5th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
