Obituary of Edna H. Morron

Bedford Edna H. Morron, 84, of 49 Hilltopper Lane, Bedford, died at 10:46 pm on Sunday, November 23, 2003 at the Bedford Regional Medical Center. Born February 3, 1919 in Clay County, KY, she was the daughter of General and Myrtle (Brown) Hale. She married Elza Morron on April 7, 1938 and he died September 29, 1974. She was a retired Superintendent in halls of residence at Indiana University in Bloomington and a member of Hilltop Pentecostal Church in Avoca. Survivors include two daughters, Carolyn Deckard and her husband James and Linda Crulo and her husband Larry all of Bedford; one son, Phillip Morron and his wife, Deborah of Bedford; eight granddaughters, Debra Deckard, Sherry Porter, Pammy Ryan, Lisa Sego, Kelly Conolty, Stephanie Morron all of Bedford and Tammy Rumell of Martinsville and Tonya Williams of Mitchell; one grandson, Mark Morron of Bedford; two sisters, Margie Taylor and Lois Sims Page both of Indianapolis; two brothers, General Hale, Jr. of Indianapolis and Dennis C. Hale of Harrodsburg; sixteen great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one son and one grandson in infancy; four sisters, Joea Porter, Eula Ryan, Marie Manion, and Eunice in infancy; two brothers, Eugene C. Hale and Carl Hale. Funeral Information Graveside funeral services will be concucted at 11:00 am on Wednesday, November 26th at Green Hill Cemetery with Rev. Bill Johnson and Kenny Bundy officiating. Friends may call from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, November 25th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
