Obituary of Christina M. Morris

Bedford Christina M. Morris, 86, of 2018 12th Street, Bedford, died at 9:50 pm on Sunday, September 16, 2007 at her residence. Born December 8, 1920 in Bedford, she was the daughter of William Robert and Leona Elnora (Edwards) Prewitt. She married Leroy M. Morris on July 12, 1941 and he died June 22, 2005. She was a graduate of Heltonville High School and earned a degree in business. She was a mother, a homemaker and assisted her husband in the family business for many years. She was a member of the Free Methodist Church in Bedford. Survivors include two sons, David L. Morris of Mitchell and Allen D. Morris and his wife, Linda of Bedford; three daughters, Judith A. Cunnington, Linda S. White and her husband, Jerry all of Bedford, Donna K. Dodds and her husband, Randal of Heltonville; fifteen grandchildren, Dean Borden, Bill Borden and his wife, Kim, Larry Borden and his wife, Pat, Brad Armstrong and his wife, Stephanie, Stacey Moore and her husband, Brian, Jonathon Morris, Candy Schofield, Missy Collingsworth and her husband, Shawn, Bill Morris all of Bedford, Melinda Lewis of Oolitic, Jeremiah Anderson and his wife, Misti of Spencer, Jerry White and his wife, Angie of Indianapolis, Brant Morris and his wife, Stacey of Madison, Amy Vorndran of Heltonville, Christina Owens and her husband, Jay, of Norman; thirty great grandchildren; eight great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, brothers, Sidney, Oscar, Stanley and Wendell Prewitt; sisters, Gertie Harris, Goldie Duncan, Daisy Reynolds, Lula May and Opal King and three great grandchildren. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Thursday, September 20th from the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Pastor Ronnie McLain officiating. Burial will follow in Beech Grove Cemetery. Friends may call from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Wednesday, September 19th and from 10:00 am until the hour of service on Thursday at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
