Obituary of Emery Morgan

Bedford Emery Morgan, 75, of 273 Treslar Street, Bedford, died at 6:35 am on Wednesday, June 20, 2007 at his residence. Born February 25, 1932, in Newfound, KY, he was the son of R.B. and Seattie (Hensley) Morgan. He married Mary Louise Zuttarelli in 1960 and she survives. He retired from the U.S. Marine Corps after serving for twenty-one years. He was a Marine to the end; he loved God and his country. He was a member of the V.F.W. of Oolitic, Moose Lodge of Bedford, Mitchell American Legion Post, Eagles Club of Bloomington, Masonic Lodge #688 of Cherry Point, NC, Scottish Rite Valley of Indianapolis and the Murat Temple. Survivors include his wife, Mary of Bedford; two sons, Joseph Morgan and his wife, Becky of Columbia, SC and Lee Morgan of Pensacola, FL; one daughter, Cathy Morgan-Asbury and her husband, Brian of Mitchell, IN; six grandsons, Dino, Jordan, Aaron, Zachary and Jacob Morgan, Matthew Asbury; three granddaughters, Christina and Jessica Easley and Alaina Castellanos; two great grandchildren; two sisters, Osa Morgan-Misuraca of Bedford and Betty Arinsmier of Cambellsville, KY; several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter, Emily Robin and one great grandchild. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 pm on Saturday, June 23rd from the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Millard Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Cresthaven Memory Gardens. Friends may call from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, June 22nd at the Day & Carter Mortuary. Military rites will be accorded at the graveside.
