Obituary of Paul D. Morgan

Bedford Paul Deleal Morgan, 88, of 2110 Park Ave., Bedford, passed away at 6:43 pm on Tuesday, July 31, 2007 at Garden Villa in Bedford following a nine month illness. Born September 29, 1918, in Dubois Co., IN, he was the son of Thomas and Mae (Seybold) Morgan. He married Marie Beatty on December 18, 1937 and she died on March 28, 2001. He was a sub-station operator for Public Service Indiana first in West Baden, IN from 1943 until 1949 then in Bedford until his retirement in 1980. His interests included hunting, fishing and gardening. He was a veteran of WW II serving with the U.S. Army and a member of the Free Methodist Church. Survivors include three sons, Paul E. Morgan of Hobe Sound, FL, David F. Morgan and his wife, Barbara of Jupiter, FL and Clark Morgan and his wife, Angela of Bedford; two daughters, Judy Kellams and her husband, Bill and Lana Morgan of Bedford; one sister, Patsy Qualkenbush of French Lick; eleven grandchildren, Paula Fuller and her husband, Neil, Susan Morgan, Scott Morgan and his wife, Valerie and Paul Morgan all of Florida, Charles Morgan of Bedford, Marnie LaFever and her husband, Doug of Mitchell, Debra Kellams and her husband, Doug, Darlene Hauer and her husband, Thomas, David Lewis and his wife, Julie all of Bedford, Darin Voorhies and his wife, Gigi and Derek Voorhies all of Bloomington; great grandchildren, Paul Hadley, Stephanie Morgan, Angela Fuller, Thomas Fuller, Scott Morgan, Brian Morgan, Natalie Morgan, Sarah Morgan, Conner Morgan, Josie LaFever, Luke LaFever, Brittany Kellams, Amanda Koshinski and her husband, Corey, Thomas Hauer, Holly Staggs and her husband, Andy, David Lewis, Dillion Lewis and Daulton Lewis; two great great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marie, parents, three brothers, Samuel, Dennis and James Morgan; five sisters, Ivabel Morgan, Hazel Dalton, Opal Phillips, Mary McCance and Jewell Wininger; one granddaughter, Lisa Morgan. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Friday, August 3rd from the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Pastor Dave Colgan officiating. Burial will follow in the Green Hill Cemetery. Friends may call from 10:00 am until the hour of service on Friday, August 3rd at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
