Obituary of Amely L. Hibbard

Heltonville Amely L. Hibbard, 73, of Heltonville, IN, died at 10:48 pm on Monday, October 28, 2013 at I.U. Health Bedford Hospital. Born March 14, 1940 in Harlan, KY, she was the daughter of Leonard and Nancy (Wyatt) Brown and Wilfred Gilley. She married Bobby Hibbard on July 6, 1956 and he survives. She retired as a supervisor for Rath Meat Packing in Indianapolis and was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Survivors include her husband, Bobby, of Heltonville; a son, Bobby Joe Hibbard, II and wife, Becky of Camby, IN; a daughter, Karen Darlene Swallers and husband, William of Knightstown, IN; seven grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; five brothers, Clyde, Clifford, Johnny, Leonard and Earl Brown; five sisters, Rosie Mann, Louise Nesbit-Brown, Jan Wimer, Sandy Shivel, Florence Scott and husband, Allen; aunts, Dallas England, Maggie Napier, Dorothy Collier and Wilma McClure; an uncle, Cecil Wyatt. She was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter, Carolyn Sue. Funeral Information Memorial services will be conducted at 11:00 am on Friday, November 1st at the Spring Hill Christian Church in Mooresville with Pastor Mark Wright officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 am until the hour of service on Friday, November 1st at the church.
