Obituary of Otis Laverne Miller

Springville Otis Laverne Miller, 74, of 1559 Greer Lane, Springville, died at 6:00 am on Thursday, March 20, 2008 at his residence.Born December 31, 1933 in Springville, he was the son of James Orland and Ida F. (Hackler) Miller. He married Beverly Jane Mercier on August 31, 1957 and she survives. He retired from Indiana Limestone Co. as an overhead crane operator and was a farmer. He was a member of the Oolitic Church of Christ and the Hoist Engineers Local #841.Surviving, with his wife, Beverly Jane of Springville is one daughter, Ann King and her husband, Terry of Bedford; one son, Kent Miller and his wife, Michelle of Springville; two grandchildren, Lance and Lacey King and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, Michelle; two brothers, Larry and Clyde Miller. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Monday, March 24th from the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Larry Hammersley officiating. Burial will follow in Beech Grove Cemetery.
