Obituary of Lisa Ann Meadows

Springville Lisa Ann Meadows, 47, of Springville, died Saturday, August 9, 2014 at her residence with her family at her side. Born April 4, 1967 in Lawrence Co., she was the daughter of Donald E. Parker, Sr. and Clara L. (Baker) Parker. She married Robert B. Meadows on April 4, 1986 and he survives. She was a Senior Coordinator for Organization Effectiveness at I.U. Health Bloomington Hospital. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Ivy Tech with a degree in office administration with a medical specialty. She was a member of Phi Theta Kappa. She loved the beach, her job and co-workers. Survivors include her husband, Robbie, of Springville; a daughter, Heather Sargent and husband, Thomas, of Bedford; her parents, Don and Clara Parker of Bedford; her mother-in-law, Sue Meadows; a brother, Donald E. Parker, Jr. and wife, Julie, of Bedford; a sister, Misty McDonald and husband, Marty, of Bedford; a brother-in-law, Dennis Meadows of Bedford; a sister-in-law, Susan Meadows, of Bedford; nieces and nephews, Jama Hobbs, Jennifer Parker, Brooklynn and Logan McDonald, Christy Norris, Brandy Meadows, Andrew Meadows, Phillip Meadows, Bryan Meadows and J.D. Griggs; several great nieces and nephews; aunts and uncles, Robbyn and Gary Murphy, Connie and Terry Simpson; great aunt, Betty Haskett; cousins DeAnne and Dan Wade. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Margery Baker Finley, Richard Baker and Dorothy Baker; her paternal grandparents, Roy and Marjorie Parker; her father-in-law, Virgil R. Meadows; her grandmothers-in-law, Anna Dillon and Lottie Goodman; an aunt, Sarah Fitzgerald; two brothers-in-law, Bryan Meadows and Jimmy Meadows. Funeral Information Cremation was chosen. A Celebration of Life for Lisa Meadows will be Sunday, August 31st at 3:00 pm at Valley Mission Church on Highway 37 behind Johnny's Junxion in Bedford. The address is 110 Hillcrest Way, Bedford, IN 47421.
