Obituary of Jerry C. Meadows

Heltonville-Jerry C. Meadows, 70, of 7649 State Road 58 East Heltonville died at 9:20 P.M. on Friday, August 21, 2009 at the Bloomington Hospital. Born February 15, 1939 in Lawrence County he was the son of Courtney and Frances (Chambers) Meadows. He married Louise Fleetwood and she survives. He was a retired materials handler for RCA, GE and Thompsons. He was a member of the IBEW Union Local 1424. He was of the Protestant faith; he was a veteran of the US Army. Surviving with his wife Louise of Heltonville are two sons: Jerry Meadows of Heltonville, Michael Meadows and wife Cathy of Heltonville; five grandchildren: Stacy Meadows of Heltonville, Frankie Evarage of Bedford, Chris Meadows, Eathan Meadows, and Eric Tumey all of Bedford; five great grandchildren: Nicholas Meadows, Mason Evarage, and Dayton Evarage all of Bedford; Aslynn Bagshaw and Jaiden Bagshaw both of Heltonville. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers: Harold, Frank, and Alan; three sisters: Laverne, Wilma, and Janice. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday, August 25th from the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary. Friends may call from 3:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Monday, August 24th and from 11:00 A.M. until the hour of service on Tuesday at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
