Obituary of Ralph Deward McPike

Bedford Ralph Deward McPike, 77, a resident of White River Lodge in Bedford, died at 8:20 am on Wednesday, May 17, 2006 at his residence. Born November 4, 1928 in Lawrence County, he was the son of John R. and Maudelene (Smallwood) McPike. Survivors include one daughter, Cathy McPike Strunk of Bloomfield; three granddaughters, LaKindra Harper of Bloomfield, Tiki Gann of Franklin and Chanden Strunk of Ellettsville; ten great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Violet Rose McPike. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Saturday, May 20th from the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Donald Myers officiating. Burial will follow in Lowder Cemetery. Friends may call from 1:00 pm until the hour of service on Saturday, May 20th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
