Obituary of Betty V. McKeen

Bedford Betty V. McKeen, 77, of 121 Brookside Dr., Bedford, died at 8:20 am on Thursday, July 6, 2006 at the Dunn Memorial Hospital. Born December 1, 1928 in Terre Haute, she was the daughter of Carl A. and Mildred (Edwards) Valentine. She married William Riley McKeen on March 12, 1955 and he survives. She was a homemaker and of the Catholic faith. Surviving with her husband is one brother, Bill Valentine of Terre Haute; two daughters, Candice McKing of North Vernon and Frederika Shawgo of Ft. Wayne; one son, William Riley McKeen of Bloomington; eleven grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 am on Wednesday, July 12th at the Callahan Hughes Funeral Home in Terre Haute, IN. Entombment will follow in the Highland Lawn Cemetery in Terre Haute, IN. Friends may call from 2:00 to 8:00 pm on Monday, July 10th at the Day & Carter Mortuary and from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, July 11th at the Callahan Hughes Funeral Home in Terre Haute.
