Obituary of Lorita Faye Bane

Bedford Lorita Faye Bane, 86, of Bedford, died at 3:00 pm on Tuesday, February 5, 2013 at her residence. Born February 1, 1927 in Welch, WV, she was the daughter of Charles and Katherine (Maynard) Blackburn. She was a nursing secretary for thirty years and a member of the Rockwood Bible Methodist Church. She married Raymond Pud Bane and he preceded her in death. She was a Godly woman. A wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She loved her family, her church and giving to mission work. Survivors include a son, Charles Edward Bane and wife, Forrestine of Rockwood, TN; a daughter, Kathy Sue Hight and husband, Steven of Bedford; three sisters, June Reed of Knoxville, TN, Betty Jane Lester of Pinson, AL and Wanda Shigley of Cropwell, AL; two brothers, James Blackburn of Indianapolis and Dennis Blackburn of Atlanta, GA; six grandchildren; five great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and a brother, Norman Erseal Blackburn. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 7:00 pm on Thursday, February 7th at the Faith Mission Church in Bedford with Pastor Steven Hight officiating. Burial will follow in Rockwood, TN. Visitation will be from 3:00 pm until the hour of service on Thursday, February 7th at the Faith Mission Church.
