Obituary of Jack E McClintock

BedfordJack Eugene McClintock, 76, of Bedford, passed away on Saturday, June 14th at Dunn Memorial Hospital. Born on November 1, 1931 in Lawrence County, IN, he was the son of Herman McClintock and Elizabeth (Jackson) McClintock. He was an Iron Worker for 38 years, a 52 year member of the Ironworkers Union Local 22, and a member of the Independent Order of Foresters, Veteran of U.S. Navy serving during the Korean War. He first married Mary A. Sowders in 1956 and she died on May 2, 1989 he then married Patricia (Pat) George on November 24, 1990 and she survives. Surviving with his wife, Pat of Bedford are his children: Deb Shell and her husband, Kevin of Camby, IN; Shannon Darnell and her husband, Brad of Avon, IN; Michael E. McClintock and his wife, Shelley of Southport, IN, Eric McClintock and his wife, Christina of Mooresville. Stepchildren: Shawn Waggoner and her husband, Terry of Springville, IN; Shannon McDermed of Bedford; 7 grandchildren: Jonathan Newkirk, Chris McKinney, Steven McKinney, Holly Hines, Andrew Knies, Kyle E. McClintock and Kimberly E. McClintock; 6 step grandchildren Bryan, Evett, Andrew and Aaron Waggoner, Robert Lucas, Nicholas Woolf; 3 great grandchildren; 8 step great grandchildren; 1 sister: Connie Bourne and her husband, Ed of Plainfield, IN; 1 step-sister: Rosalie Weems and her husband, Don of New Whiteland, IN. He was preceded in death by his parents, stepmother Juanita Phillips, and first wife: Mary; 1 granddaughter: Heather McKinney and step brother: Allen Turpin. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, June 19th at 2:00pm from the Conkle Funeral Home, 4925 W. 16th Street in Speedway, IN. Burial will follow in West Ridge Park Cemetery in Speedway. Friends may call on Tuesday, June 17th from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Day & Carter Mortuary in Bedford and on Wednesday, June 18th from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the Conkle Funeral Home.
