Obituary of Mary Lou May
Bedford Mary Lou May, 67, of 5305 Hwy. 158 W., Bedford, died at 4:58 pm on Thursday, August 28, 2008 at the Stonebridge Health Campus in Bedford.
Born February 5, 1941 in Daviess Co., she was the daughter of Arvil Robert and Maime Glen (Hedrick) Foster. She graduated from the Alfordsville High School with the class of 1959. She married Lebert May on December 3, 1965 and he survives. She was a factory worker for Essex for over twenty-five years and a member of the First Assembly of God in Bedford. Mary enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and her great grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband, Lebert, of Bedford; one son, Dexter (Butch) May of Silverville, IN; three daughters, Sherry Brown of Mitchell, IN Penny Godsey and Melissa Sullivan both of Bedford; three brothers, Jim and Donnie Foster both of Washington and Tom Foster of Dubois; two sisters, Mable Lamb of Petersburg and Helen Gotwals of Bloomington; eleven grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Bob Foster. Funeral Information
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 am on Tuesday, September 2nd at the First Assembly of God in Bedford with Pastor Terry Bryant and Pastor Glenn Duncan officiating. Burial will follow in the Fayetteville Church of Christ Cemetery. Friends may call from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Monday, September 1st at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
