Obituary of Sharon Baldwin

Bedford Sharon Baldwin, 69, of 808 Blue Springs Cavern Road, Bedford, died at 3:45 am on Tuesday, November 16, 2010 at her residence. Born September 18, 1941 in Lawrence Co., she was the daughter of Robert Fox and Wilma Yost Elkins. She married Edward Baldwin in May 1958 and he survives. She was a homemaker, a member of the New Union Christian Church and American Legion Auxillary. Survivors include her husband, Edward of Bedford; two daughters, Debbie Edwards and husband, Danny of Valrico, FL, Teresa Short and husband, Don of Bedford; seven grandchildren, Jason Fish, Joshua Fish, Brandon Short, Brandy Short Marsh, Jacob Fish, Brady Short and Crystin Edwards; eight great grandchildren; siblings, Rita Foddrill and husband, Larry of Bedford, Gary Fox of Bedford, Kathy Craig and husband, Roger of Charlotte, NC, Kevin Elkins and wife, Laura of Indianapolis, Shawn Elkins and wife, Georgia of Indianapolis; her step-father, John J. Elkins of Indianapolis. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Robert Gene Fox. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 am on Friday, November 19th in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Pastor Charlie Scott officiating. Burial will follow in Gilgal Cemetery in Heltonville. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm 8:00 pm on Thursday, November 18th and from 9:00 am until the hour of service on Friday, November 19th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
