Obituary of Myrtle Marie Matuszewski

Bedford Myrtle Marie Matuszewski, 90, of 1913 5th Street, Bedford, died at 6:00 pm on Monday, July 14, 2008 at her residence. Born September 26, 1917 in Oolitic, she was the daughter of Edward and Laura Mae (Sasser) Cobb. She married Delbert (Deb) Holt. She later married James Morris, and later married Frank Matuszewski. She retired from M. Fine & Sons Mfg. and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Bedford. She was a devoted wife and mother. She loved to garden and was a tireless fisherman. Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Robert T. and Patricia (Pruitt) Holt of Kenray Lake; a daughter, Carolyn (Morris) Terry of Bedford; a son-in-law, Jerry D. Terry of Silverville; grandchildren, Debby and her husband, Kenny Carrico of Worthington, Greg Coulter of Brownstown, Jeff and his wife, Linda Coulter of Worthington, Doug and his wife, Vickie Coulter of Port Orchard, WA, Teresa and her husband, John Fiscus of Worthington, Allan Holt of Kenray Lake, Dina Terry of Silverville, Jeremy and his wife, Michelle Terry of Fayetteville, Laura Mae and her husband, Brian Root of Bedford; nineteen great grandchildren; twelve great great grandchildren and one on the way; a brother, Doyle and his wife, Adele Cobb of Melbourne, FL; sisters, Helen Thompson of Hemet, CA and Phyllis Kirk of Bedford; her best friend and faithful companion, her little dog, Chrisie Belle. She was preceded in death by her parents, three husbands, five brothers, Ernest, Ray, Emery, Everett and Earl Cobb; a sister, Nancy (Nannie) Brinegar; a daughter and son-in-law, Shirley (Holt) and Donald Coulter; three grandsons, Richard Coulter, Robert K. Holt and David Holt. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Friday, July 18th from the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Rev. Dr. Kregg Burris officiating. Entombment will follow in Cresthaven Memory Gardens. Friends may call from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, July 17th and from 10:00 am until the hour of service on Friday, July 18th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
