Obituary of Amelia Mascio

Bedford Amelia Mascio, 88, of Bedford, died at 7:43 am on Friday, February 29, 2008 at Dunn Memorial Hospital. Born March 4, 1919 in Bedford, she was the daughter of Bennie and Stephania (Desimon) Mascio. She was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church for over seventy years. Survivors include four sisters, Betty True and her husband, Don of Bedford, Evelyn Baker of Oolitic, Josephine Sherwood and her husband, Bill of Atlanta, GA and Ann Manzenberger of Bradenton, FL; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Sgt. Raymond Mascio who was killed in WW II. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Monday, March 3rd from the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Rev. Rob Kirts officiating. Burial will follow in the Green Hill Cemetery. Friends may call from 12:00 noon until the hour of service on Monday, March 3rd at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
