Obituary of Valera Marie Marchetti

Bedford Valera Marie Marchetti, 83, of 8239 State Road #158 Bedford, died at 3:15 pm on Friday, December 31, 2004 at the Bedford Regional Medical Center. Born December 1, 1921, she was the daughter of Hobart Wheat and Katherine (Graves) Kern. She married Milo V. Marchetti on August 2, 1941 and he died September 4, 2000. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Christian Church, the Womens Dept. Club and served in many civic related projects throughout her lifetime. She named the Stonehenge Lodge in Bedford which she was proud of. She was a loving mother and grandmother and always saw the best in others. Survivors include one daughter, Diann Burton of Bedford; one grandson, Marc Burton of Houston, TX; one granddaughter, Ann Marie Burton of Bedford and three great grandchildren, Spencer, Alex and Hollie all of Bedford. She was preceded in death by her husband and one brother, Harold Kern. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 am on Wednesday, January 5th from the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Rev. Bob Dailey officiating. Burial will follow in Cresthaven Memory Gardens. Friends may call from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, January 4th and from 9:00 am until the hour of service on Wednesday at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
