Obituary of Leroy Manns

Mitchell Rev. Leroy Manns, 59, of 1000 Grandma Brown Road, Mitchell, IN, died at 9:10 am on Thursday, January 4, 2007 at his residence. Born August 2, 1947 in Williamsport, OH, he was the son of Harley Francis and Rowena (Houser) Manns. He married Elizabeth Smith on July 9, 1966. He was a member of the Faith Mission Church in Bedford. Survivors include one son, Douglas Manns and his wife, Melissa of North Carolina; two daughters, Cynthia Watters and her husband, Nathan of New Albany, IN, Beth Manns and her companion, Ruth Anne Manns of Franklin, IN; ten grandchildren; four brothers, Ray, Clarence, Larry and Lester Manns; four sisters, Carolyn Cooper, Jean Elkins, Shirley Hayes and Donna Thomas; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Annabelle McCullah and Martha Manns. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 am on Monday, January 8th at the Faith Mission in Bedford with Rev. Leonard Sankey, Rev. Steven Manley and Jeff Housperger officiating. Burial will follow in Cresthaven Memory Gardens. Military rites will be accorded at the graveside by the Indiana National Guard. Friends may call from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Sunday, January 7th at the Day & Carter Mortuary and from 10:00 am until the hour of service on Monday at the Faith Mission Church. View Video Tribute
