Obituary of Richard T. Howell, II

Tunnelton – Richard T. Howell, II, 76, of Tunnelton, passed away at 8:00 pm on Wednesday, November 6, 2024, at his residence. Born February 26, 1948, in Bedford, he was the son of Richard T. and Avis (Roberts) Howell. He married Barbara Bennett on May 25, 1968, and she survives. He had been a machine operator for Manchester Tank and attended the Tunnelton Methodist Church. Survivors include his wife, Barbara, of Tunnelton; a daughter, Susan Spinks, of Bedford; a sister, Mary Ellen Asbury and husband, Jerry, of Mitchell; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, his father and mother-in-law, Fred and Beulah Bennett; a son-in-law, Bob Spinks. Graveside services will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Saturday, November 16th at Tunnelton Cemetery with Mark Bennett and Roger Allen officiating.
