Obituary of Dorotha Sue Manning

Bedford Dorotha Sue (Dottie) Manning, 80, of 3207 W Street, Bedford, died at 1:30 pm on Thursday, June 24, 2010 at Stonebridge Health Campus in Bedford. Born April 28, 1930 in Plainville, IN, she was the daughter of Orva and Susie (Dyer) Hinkle. She married Walter Manning on September 3, 1950 and he survives. She was a homemaker and a long-time member of the First Christian Church of Bedford. Survivors include her husband, Walter, of Bedford; a daughter, Connie Pierce and husband, Mark, of Lexington, KY; two grandsons, Michael and Daniel Pierce both of Lexington, KY; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Billy Hinkle. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 4:00 pm on Sunday, June 27th at the First Christian Church with Rev. Bob Dailey officiating. Burial will follow in the Beech Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Saturday, June 26th at the Day & Carter Mortuary and from 3:00 pm until the hour of service on Sunday, June 27th at the First Christian Church.
