Bedford – Kenneth E. Day, 90, of Bedford, passed away at 11:20 am on Monday, October 14, 2024, at Stonebridge Health Campus.


Born June 13, 1934, in Bedford, he was the son of Lloyd and Mary Alice (Ehringer) Day. He married Margaret George on September 19, 1953, and she preceded him in death on September 15, 2023. He was a tool and die maker at General Motors and attended Faith Baptist Church in Springville.


Survivors include son, Kenny Day and significant other, Rachael Osburn, of Hollywood, FL; children, Vanessa Moule and son, Rylan, and Patricia Osburn; son, Kevin Day and wife, Jenny, of Bedford, and their son, Derek Day and wife, Lacey, of Richmond, KY and children, Landyn and Cameron Day; a brother, Larry Day and wife, Nancy, of Roaring Springs, Pennsylvania. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, a brother, Jack and a sister, Sue Ball.


Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Monday, October 21st in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Pastors Rusty Burnette and Chris Stubbs officiating. Burial will follow in Cresthaven Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from 10:00 am until the hour of service on Monday at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
