Bedford – Linda L. Brown, 85, of Bedford, passed away at 12:01 am on Tuesday, September 24, 2024, at Stonebridge Health Campus.

Born March 16, 1939, in Lawrence Co., she was the daughter of Lenza and Dorothy F. (Wever) Stewart. She married John R. Brown, Jr. on February 12, 1972, and he preceded her in death in 2013. She was a homemaker and had worked at General Electric.

Survivors include two sons, Mark W. Ingle and wife, Peggy, of Springville, Jeffrey Ingle and wife, Barbara, of Bedford; a daughter, Lori Ann Ingle, of Corydon; four grandchildren; several great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a son, William Kyle Brown; two sisters, Janet Yeary and Judy Zutarelli; a brother, Charles W. “Buster” Stewart.

Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Sunday, September 29th at Switz City Cemetery with Pastor Russell Burnette officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm on Sunday at the Day & Carter Mortuary. Family and friends may express condolences at www.daycarter.com.
