Obituary of Ronald M. Cummings

Bedford – Ronald M. “Fuzzy” Cummings, 78, of Bedford, passed away on Sunday, September 15, 2024, at his residence. Born July 8, 1946, in Bedford, he was the son of Roy R. “Cricket” and Mildred “Smokey” Watson Cummings. He was a graduate of Bedford High School with the class of 1964 and from Indiana State. He married Tammy Apple and she preceded him in death. He retired as an outdoor recreational manager at King’s Bay Base in Georgia. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and a member of Gillen Post #33 American Legion. Survivors include two sisters, Patsy Becker, of Bedford and Cara Cummings, of OK; a brother, Tom Cummings, of AZ; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, and his beloved dog, Macy. Visitation will be from 9:00 am to 11:00 am on Wednesday, September 18th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
