Bedford – Donald Ray Mabrey, 87, of Bedford, passed away on Friday, September 13, 2024, at Stonebridge Health Campus.

Born March 15, 1937, he was the son of Henry Lee and Annie (Markham) Mabrey. He married Mary Louise Kurtz, and she preceded him in death. Donald was of the Catholic faith.

Survivors include his children, Valarie Rae Giles and husband Larry of Williamsburg, VA, Matt Mabrey and wife Patricia of Bedford, Gregory Gerrard Mabrey and wife Diane of St. Louis, MO, Daniel Ray Mabrey of Seattle, WA; eight grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and a brother, Harold Mabrey of St. Louis, MO. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, two brothers and three sisters.
