Bloomington – Mark Fitzgerald, 70, of Bloomington, passed away at 5:45 am on Tuesday, September 10, 2024, at I.U. Health Hospice House.

Born June 9, 1954, in Bedford, he was the son of James and Barbara (Allen) Fitzgerald. He retired from G.E. as an assembly line worker. He enjoyed fishing and cooking.

Survivors include a sister, Shelia Burks and husband, Gary Workman, of Bloomfield; a nephew, Darrin Burks; a niece, Cheryl Pearson; great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother-in-law, Jimmy Burks.

Graveside services will be conducted at 2:30 pm on Thursday, September 12th at the Bartlettsville Christian Church Cemetery with Dennis Parsley officiating.
