Springville – Sherrill Wayne Hall, 80, of Springville, passed away at 9:27 pm on Wednesday, September 4, 2024, at his residence.

Born May 13, 1944, in Bedford, he was the son of Richard Gordon and Stella Elizabeth Hall. He married Janet Craig on May 18, 1968, and she survives. He was a maintenance worker at South Side Rentals and maintenance manager at Johnson’s Dairy.

Survivors include his wife, Janet, of Springville; one son, Michael Hall, and wife, Amanda Robbins, of Crown Point, IN; his former daughter-in-law, Wendy Hall True and husband, Tim True, of Morgantown; two grandchildren, Brittany Hall (Corey Beasley) and Breanna Hall (Reed Crane), all of Bedford; two great-grandchildren, Ridge and Rylee Crane; a half-brother, Don Phillips and wife, Sharon, of Cincinnati, OH. He was preceded in death by his parents and his beloved dog, Sophie.

A celebration of life will be held at 3:00 pm on Saturday, September 14th in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary. Visitation will be from 12:00 noon until the hour of service on Saturday, September 14th at the Day & Carter Mortuary. Memorial contributions may be made to the Marshall Township Volunteer Fire Dept.
