William Parker, II Obituary

Bedford - William Parker, II, 69, of Bedford, passed away on Tuesday, August 27, 2024, at his residence.


Born September 24, 1954, in Nebraska, he was the son of William and Lois (Bussey) Parker. He married Terry Davis on April 29, 2005, and she survives. He was an industrial electrician and a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was a member of American Patriot Lodge #750 of Oolitic and 2nd Baptist Church in Bedford.


Survivors include his wife, Terry, of Bedford; children, William Parker, III, Scott Parker, Brandy Alderman, Joshua Parker, and Joseph Parker; 17 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren; a brother, Mark Parker; sisters, Jody Miller and Brenda Fay. He was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter, Bobby Jo Parker.


Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 noon on Saturday, August 31st in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Rev. Donald Griffin officiating. Burial will follow in Valhalla Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from 10:00 am until the hour of service on Saturday at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
