Bedford -James Michael Bartlett, 45, of Bedford, passed away on Monday, August 12, 2024.

Born September 17, 1978, in Bedford, he was the son of Michael David and Carmela (Perry) Bartlett. He was a mechanic.

Survivors include three children, Elias Bartlett and Jacqueline Bartlett both of Bedford, and Kyra Gotwals, of Bloomington; seven grandchildren; his parents; a brother, Cameron Bartlett, of CO. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Kenny Perry; his paternal grandmother, Brenda Armstrong and husband, Rick; his paternal grandfather, David Bartlett; step-grandfather, Don Strunk; his father-in-law, Jeff Lamar, a brother-in-law, Eric Lamar and an uncle, Andy Keith.

Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, August 20th in Crawford Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm on Tuesday at the Day & Carter Mortuary. Family and friends may express condolences at www.daycarter.com.
