Obituary of Pasquale Magnus

Crane Pasquale (Possie) Magnus, 83, of Crane, IN, died at 6:03 am on Monday, December 10, 2007 at his residence. Born May 10, 1924 in Lawrence Co., he was the son of Joe and Mary (Presto) Magnus. He married Wilma Neeley on November 11, 1983 and she survives. He was a retired sign painter and a veteran of the U.S. Army serving during WW II. He was a life-time member of the V.F.W. Post in Crane. Mr. Magnus was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include his wife, Wilma of Crane; one daughter, Vicki Spinks and her husband, Gary of Bedford; one son, Danny Magnus of Portland, OR; grandchildren, Danelle Spinks of San Francisco, CA, Jason Spinks and his wife, Bernice of Arlington, TX; step-children, Gina Gooch of Leander, TX, Tina Reagan and her husband, Charles of Leander, TX and Tony Stigall; step-grandchildren, Josh Reagan and his wife, Karli of Cedar Park, TX, Jessica Reagan, Alex Reagan, Jennifer Gaferon and her husband, Zeek of LongMont, CO, Courtney Jones of Bedford, Bobby Jones of Houston, TX; one great grandchild; five step great grandchildren and one sister, Rita Morris of Bedford. He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Rose Concannon; one grandchild, Brandi Spinks; one step-daughter, Kelly Ann Stigall. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Thursday, December 13th from the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Paul Guthrie officiating. Burial will follow in Patton Hill Cemetery. Friends may call from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, December 12th and from 11:00 am until the hour of service on Thursday, December 13th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
