Obituary of Troy Joseph Simpson, Jr.

Bedford - Troy Joseph Simpson, Jr., 26, of Bedford, passed away in his home on July 1, 2024. Troy loved his family, especially his two daughters. He enjoyed watching anime, taking photos, and had recently taken up painting. Troy loved animals, especially cats, and was always trying to adopt strays. He loved music and spending time at home with his family. Troy was known for cracking jokes and trying to make others laugh. He will be missed immensely. Troy was preceded in death by his father, Troy Simpson, Sr. and his maternal grandmother, Connie Henson. He is survived by his mother and step-father, Lisa and Tod Norman; siblings, Nick (Johanna) De Palma, Mason De Palma, Tori (Alex) Adams, and Julian Norman; grandparents, Terry and Connie Simpson, and Tony Henson; daughters, Elena and Raelynn; his niece and nephew, Zariyya and Gabriel De Palma, as well as aunts, uncles and cousins. Viewing and visitation will be held on Monday, July 8th at the Day & Carter Mortuary in Bedford from 12-2 pm with a Celebration of Life to follow at the Moose Family Lodge from 2:30-5:30 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in his name to the Indiana Recovery Alliance of Bloomington or the White River Humane Society.
