Obituary of William C. Maggard

Bloomington, Dr. William C. Maggard, 75, of 904 Basswood Circle North in Bloomington, died at 1:55 a.m. on Sunday, July 6, 2003, at the Bloomington Hospital. Born on April 21, 1928 in Danville, ILL, he was the son of Jake and Minnie (Gill) Maggard. He was a minister for years in Bartholomew County and was a member of the Green Valley Apostolic Church in Nashville, IN. He was a veteran of World War II serving in the Army Air core. Surviving are one daughter: Sandra Egea-Carrasquillo of Florida; one son: William Clinton Maggard, II. of Springville; three step-daughters: Theresa Hudson of Bloomfield, Monica Fender of Bloomington, Linda Hart of Harrodsburg three sisters: Dean Havron of Seymour; Beth Ridgley of Nashville; Shirly Sawyer of Indianapolis; one brother: Lee Maggard of Morgantown; nine grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters and one brother. Funeral Information A memorial services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 8th, at the Green Valley Apostolic Church in Nashville, IN, with Bro. Joseph Tripp officiating. Burial will follow at a later date at Crothersville Cemetery.
