Obituary of Phyllis Ann (Hall) Abel

Our precious mother and grandmother passed away at her home on May 26, 2024. Phyllis Ann Hall was born on January 3, 1942, to Robert T. Hall and Dorothy (Godsey) Hall of Oolitic. She was a graduate of Oolitic High school. She married Robert Darrell Abel in September of 1959. Phyllis was a loving wife and mother, together they had four children. Phyllis was a faithful Christian and attended the Peerless Pentecost Church regularly. She was a homemaker and worked at Dunn Hospital and Bedford General Motors in the cafeterias for several years. She is survived by her daughter Pamela (Randy) Prewitt of Oolitic, and son Michael Scott Abel of Guthrie. She has 7 grandchildren & 13 great-grandchildren who she loved very much, Grandchildren: Landon Garland, Lindsay (Aaron) Staggs, Jimmy Speer, Sara (Austin J.) Speer, Chris Bales, Zach Bales, Jessica (Tim) Stillions. Great-grandchildren, Madison, Alexandra & Elliot Staggs, Christian Garland, Rylee & Carsen Jackson, Robbie, Rebecca, Ronan, & Damian Bales, Logan, Lyla, & Hallie Stillions. She was preceded in death by her daughters Debra (Jim) Speer of Arizona and Sandra (Abel) Bales of North Dakota. Her parents, her brother Robert Wayne (June) Hall and her sister Barbara (Max) Abel. She will be greatly missed and remembered always with love. Cremation was chosen and she asked for no visitation or funeral. There will be graveside prayer at a later date with Bro. Aaron Swafford.
