Obituary of Kristy Grogan Brown

Bedford - Kristy Grogan Brown, 49, of Bedford, passed away at 3:19pm on Friday, May 24, 2024, at Baptist Health Floyd Hospital surrounded by family. Born March 20, 1975, in Bedford, she was the daughter of Millard and Darlene (Wheeler) Grogan. She attended Shoals High School: and she loved attending and participating in derby cars, animals, and enjoyed doing puzzles. She especially loved spending time with friends and family. Survivors include her parents Millard and Darlene Grogan; two sisters, Misty Davis and husband, Ernie, of Ohio, and Hillary Grogan of Bedford; three brothers, Howard "Chuck" Grogan and wife, Marci, of Shoals, Millard D. "Tex" Grogan and wife, Melissa, of Shoals, and Jeremy Grogan and wife, Jayliene, of Shoals; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and several friends. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Maggie Mae (Grogan) and Ray Chastain, Oscar Grogan, Betty (Owen) and Howard Wheeler, and a niece Hannah Lee Davis. Graveside service will be conducted at 3:00pm on Wednesday, May 29th at Mt. Olive Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00am to 2:00pm on Wednesday at Day & Carter Mortuary.
