I worked with Jerry at the foundry. He was a good friend and mentor. He was so talented and skillful at die-making. We had a lot of good times singing at lunch time. He was a good singer, especially on the old gospel songs. I loved to hear his stories and jokes. He was always very kind to me. I'm so blessed to have known him and to have worked with him. He was a lot of fun. I really respected him. I think he must be singing with the angels in Heaven now, just like it talked about in the old songs we sang. He loved the Lord and I bet he'll have a special place for Jerry in Heaven. Like the special place I'll always have for him in my heart. Rest in peace dear friend. Robin Reed
