Bedford - William A. (Billy) Poling, 65, of Bedford, passed away on Sunday, April 21, 2024, at Stonebridge Health Campus.

Born August 4, 1958, in Bedford, he was the son of Allen M. and Ariel (Megnin) Poling. He was a business owner and member of the Sherwood Oaks Christian Church in Bedford, the Lawrence County Art Association, Little Theatre of Bedford, the White River Humane Society, and I.U. Varsity Club. He was a graduate of Bedford North Lawrence High School with the class of 1976. He attended trade school in Cincinnati. Billy was an avid fan of Indiana University Athletics and Cincinnati Reds and attended several games. He loved to write, was a wonderful artist and enjoyed taking trips to Disney. He faithfully attended the Indianapolis 500 for many years. He loved his German Shepards and driving his Mustang.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Memorial services will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, May 1st at Sherwood Oaks Christian Church in Bedford with Tim Thompson officiating.

A memorial gathering will be from 12:00 noon until the hour of service on Wednesday at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, Lawrence County Center for Women's Ministries or the White River Humane Society.
