Obituary of Beverly Kay Brunt

Bedford - Beverly "Bev" Kay Brunt, 76, of Bedford, passed away on Thursday, April 4, 2024, at Westview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Bedford. Bev was born on March 4, 1948, in Bloomington, IN, to Harold R. and Martha "Betty" E. (Keilbach) Daniel. On May 8, 1988, she married Phillip M. Brunt, and he preceded her in death on February 26, 2008. Bev was a very proud nurse that walked the halls for many miles while serving the patients at Bedford Medical Center for 40 years. She enjoyed preparing for and singing gospel music at local events and churches. Her favorite past-times were playing and calling Bingo at local halls and playing the slot machines at French Lick or while traveling. Survivors include two sons, Michael Scott (Cindy) Kleindorfer, of Bedford and Eric Landon (Lisa) Kleindorfer, of Bloomington; a brother, Steven I. Daniel, of Columbus, IN; a granddaughter, Raichael S. Miller; a grandson, Landon R. Kleindorfer and two step-grandchildren, Ryan J. Waldo and Eric C. Waldo. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and a brother, Mark. E. Daniel. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Saturday, April 6th in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Pastor Reno Bates officiating. Cremation will follow. Visitation will be from 11:00 am until the hour of service on Saturday at the Day & Carter Mortuary. Memorial contributions may be made to the Bedford Boys and Girls Club.
