Obituary of Kathy Wray

Kathy Wray, 72, of Springville, passed away at 5:30 pm, on Friday, March 29, 2024, at her residence. Born August 29, 1951, in Lawrence County, she was the daughter of Hubert and Gladys (Andis) Blake. Kathy worked at RCA and later at PRD. She was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary. Kathy attended First Christian Church and Mt. Pleasant Christian Church in Bedford. Survivors include her mother, Gladys Blake of Springville; children, Jimmy Goodman and wife Sara of Mitchell, Brent Goodman of Bedford, Jenny Wray of Bedford; eight grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; two brothers, Steve Blake of Springville, Raymond Blake of Springville, and a sister, Nancy Strunk, and husband Mike of Bedford. She was preceded in death by her father, twins Kenny and Kelly Goodman, and a brother, Tom Blake. Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00pm on Thursday, April 4th at Cresthaven Memory Gardens with Pastor Jeff Hudelson officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00am to 1:30pm on Thursday, April 4th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
