Williams – Beth A. Dumond. 62, of Williams, passed away on Sunday, March 17, 2024, in Columbus.

Born September 13, 1961, in Bedford, she was the daughter of John and Sharon (Bundy) Turner. She married Steve Dumond on May 1, 1993, and he survives. She was a rural mail carrier for the U.S. Postal Service in Lawrence County.

Survivors include her husband, Steve, of Williams; her mother, Sharon, of Springville; two daughters, Leslie Jackson, and Audra Moberly, both of Kentucky; a son, Jason Cooper, of Williams; three grandchildren, Trey Doan and Landon Moberly, both of Louisiana, Ledger Moberly, of Kentucky; a sister, Jenny (Dan) Scott, of Bedford; three sisters-in-law, Mary Dumond, Susan Dumond, and Patricia Kidwell, all of Williams; 2 brothers-in-law, Randy Dumond, of Williams and Roger (Cheryl) Dumond, of Greensburg; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, a brother-in-law, Lenny Dumond and sister-in-law, Martha Jane Dumond.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 am on Thursday, March 21st in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Mike Eads officiating. Burial will follow in Port Williams Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, March 20th and from 10:00 am until the hour of service on Thursday at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
