Obituary of Mary Elizabeth Pendley

Bedford- Mary Elizabeth Pendley, 88, passed away on March 8, 2024, at Indiana University Bedford Hospital. Born February 8, 1936, in Bedford, Indiana, she was the daughter of Opal and Edith Empson. She attended Fayetteville Baptist Church and retired from I.U. Health Bedford Hospital where she worked as a dietician. Survivors include a son, Scott Pendley and his wife Linda of Bloomington; a granddaughter, Stacy Bartlett and her husband Todd of Springville; and a great grandson, Chance Bartlett of Springville. She was preceded by her parents, her husband, Charles Pendley, and three sisters, Jewell, Nora, and Mildred. Graveside services will be conducted at1:30 pm on Tuesday, March 12th at Fayetteville Community Cemetery with Rev. Kenny Walden officiating.
