Obituary of Carol Ann Mifflin

Bedford – Carol Ann Mifflin, 80, of Bedford, passed away at 3:30 pm on Sunday, February 25, 2024, at I.U. Health Bedford Hospital. Born September 22, 1943, in New Albany, IN, she was the daughter of Gerald and Hildreth (Roby) Ludlow. She was a kindergarten teacher for thirty-five years with Dollens Elementary School. She was a member of the First Christian Church for over 50 years and was very involved with the church and numerous Bible study groups. Survivors include two daughters, Janée Mifflin Williams and husband, Kyle, of Henryville and Kimra Mifflin Buehner and husband Thomas, of Indianapolis; two grandchildren, Patrick Joseph Williams, and Sarah Kathleen Williams, both of Henryville; a sister, Sheila Kay Miskuf, of Bedford; nephews, Michael Miskuf and wife, Courtney, Jason Miskuf and wife, Amy, David Miskuf and wife, Sadie, all of Bedford; several great-nieces and nephews; cousins, Wanda Jean Lasley and her children, Michelle Zollman and husband, John and Michael Lasley and wife, Nancy, Melvin Crosier and wife, Irma Ruth, of Bedford, TX, Jay Ludlow and wife, Annette, of Fishers. She was preceded in death by her parents. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 am on Friday, March 1st in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Pastor Tim Thompson officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, February 29th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
