Obituary of Thomas Joe Tincher

Bedford – Thomas Joe Tincher, 71, of Bedford, passed away at 11:48 pm on Sunday, January 14, 2024, at I.U. Health Hospice House in Bloomington. Born November 29, 1952, in Bedford, he was the son of Joe and Clara Joan (Super) Tincher. He married Karen Dorsett on May 6, 1983, and she survives. He had been a factory worker for Manchester Tank for 45 years and attended the First Assembly of God in Bedford. Survivors include his wife, Karen, of Bedford; a son, Toby Tincher and wife, Marcy, of Williams; three grandchildren, Gavin Tincher and wife, Shyah, Aaliyah Tincher, and Zephyr Tincher, all of Williams; a great-grandson, Westin Tincher; two brothers, Jeff Tincher, of Fayetteville, Kevin Tincher and wife, Juli, of Bedford; one nephew, Brady Tincher, of Bedford; one niece, Shelby Chastain and husband, Tanner, of Bedford; a great-niece, Grayli Chastain. He was preceded in death by his parents. Following Tom’s wishes, cremation was chosen. Memorial services will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, January 24th at the Day & Carter Mortuary with Rev. Chris Stubbs officiating. Burial will follow in Cresthaven Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from 11:00 am until the hour of service on Wednesday at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
