Obituary of Geri Lynn Embree

Springville – Geri Lynn Embree, 71, of Springville, passed away at 5:40 am on Thursday, January 11, 2024, at Stonebridge Health Campus. Born February 14, 1952, in Bedford, she was the daughter of H. Martin and L. Jean (Graves) Barnett. She married Pat Embree on October 18, 1969, and he survives. She was a beautician at Jeanie’s Beauty Shop and a hostess at Hobby’s Inn. Survivors include her husband, Pat, of Springville; three children, Patrick D. Embree, II and wife, Regina, of Springville, Cristopher M. Embree and wife, Sara, of Omaha, NE, and Brandi J. Wright, of Bedford; twelve grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a sister, Kathy J. Oliver and husband, Jim, of Mt. Dora, FL. She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters (in infancy). Following Geri’s wishes, cremation was chosen and private memorial services will be conducted with Rev. Bill Johnson officiating at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
