I had hoped that I misinterpreted this post. Those of us who knew him—and I only knew him briefly—are in awe and shock (not shock and awe) of his dignity in literally saying goodbye to his friends on Facebook. Craig was the most interesting and interested person in the room at any art event. He gave you all of his attention, a rare thing these days. Learning of his passing on my birthday was both a blow and a nod. It has affected me immensely. How one person can empower others by his ability to be present in each moment leaves a legacy of being there. You were beloved, Craig, and our community is forever transformed by you having been part of it. Blessings on your journey into stardust. I hope to see you scintillating in the sky from time to time. Regardlessly, you are in my heart.
