Obituary of Judith D. Reef

Norman – Judith D. Reef, 63, of Norman, passed away at 1:10 am on Tuesday, January 9, 2024, at I.U. Health Hospice House in Bloomington. Born August 6, 1960, in Bedford, she was the daughter of James and Geneva (Grogan) Byrd. She married Brian Reef and he survives. She was a homemaker. Survivors include her husband, Brian, of Norman; two sons, James Byrd, of Vincennes and A.J. Barnett, of Bedford; a sisters, Glenda Wellman Nickless and husband, Bruce, of Norman, Suzie Byrd Martinez and husband, David, of Frost Proof, FL, and AnnaLee Henderson and husband, Raymond, of Mitchell; two brothers, James Connerly and wife, Joy, of Houston and Donnie Byrd, of Lawrence Co.; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Friday, January 12th in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Mark Duncan officiating. Burial will follow in the Judah Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, January 11th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
