Obituary of Ryan Matthew Chase

Bedford-Ryan Matthew Chase, 45, of Bedford passed away at 11:15 am on Friday, December 29, 2023. Born May 3, 1978, in Bedford, IN, he was the son of Gary and Sheila (Barnett) Chase. He married Brandi Prince on October 19, 2013, and she survives. Ryan worked as an electrician for U.S. Gypsum. Ryan was a man of many talents, he loved to cook, metal forging, tinkering, and creating things on his 3D printer. He loved his family and would do anything he could to help friends and even strangers. Survivors include his wife Brandi of Bedford, four children, Owen Chase, Evie Chase, Nicolai Marion, and Luke Marion; his mother, Sheila Chase of Bedford, a brother, Brandon Chase, and his wife Ronay of Chicago; a sister, Lindsay Bilskie, and her husband Heath of Bedford; his nieces and nephews, Gwennyth Fetscher, and her husband Damian, Aidan Thompson, Brooks Bilskie, and Amira Bilskie; a great niece, Emmalynn Fetscher. He was preceded in death by his father, Gary, maternal grandparents, Walter and Mildred Barnett, and his paternal grandparents, Joe and Delila Chase. Following Ryan’s wishes cremation was chosen. A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, January 6th, 2024, from 3:00 pm until 7:00 pm in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary.
