Obituary of Bobby L. Hillenburg

Heltonville – Bobby L. Hillenburg, 83, of Heltonville, passed away at 12:32 pm on Wednesday, December 20, 2023, at I.U. Health Bedford Hospital. Born May 14, 1940, in Monroe Co., he was the son of Joe and Dorval (Kelley) Hillenburg. He married Brenda Smith and she survives. He retired from General Motors and was a farmer. He was a member of the Bartlettsville Christian Church. Survivors include his wife, Brenda, of Heltonville; their children, Dedra Hawkins, of Heltonville, Leann Daniels, of Mitchell, and Robin (Lisa) Hillenburg, of Heltonville; grandchildren, Adam (LeAnn) Hawkins, Jerred Hawkins, Chad (Karen) Hillenburg, Dawn Hillenburg, and Hope (Chris) Newton; ten great-grandchildren; siblings, Garris Hillenburg, of Bedford, Frank Hillenburg and Loretta King, both of Mitchell. He was preceded in death by his parents, siblings, Peggy, Charles, and Patty. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Friday, December 22nd at the Bartlettsville Christian Church with Pastor Tim Day officiating. Burial will follow in Bartlettsville Christian Cemetery.
