Obituary of Frances C. Flynn

Bedford – Frances C. Flynn, 86, of Bedford, passed away at 2:58 pm on Thursday, December 14, 2023, at Majestic Care in Bedford. Born August 21, 1937, in Ft. William McKinley, Manila Philippines, she was the daughter of Mariano Ugalde Mendoza and Filomena Orencia Cumagun. Frances worked at RCA for thirty-one years until it closed in 1998 and later worked at NSWC Crane for 10 years. She worked various part time jobs until 2017, before fully retiring at age 78. She loved cooking, shopping and get-togethers that had a good Volleyball game involved. She loved gardening and flowers. Survivors include her children, Christopher Flynn, of Bedford, Carolyn Flynn, of Indianapolis, and Kevin Flynn and wife, Leslie Flynn, of Springville; grandchildren, Devon and Jessica Flynn; four sisters, Purificacion Mendoza, Tita Mendoza and Benilda Mendoza and Dionisia Mendoza; former daughter-in-law, Debbie Flynn. She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Consuelo Mendoza and two brothers, Wenceslao Mendoza and Mariano Mendoza, Jr. Graveside services will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, December 19th in Valhalla Memory Gardens with Seth Wisley officiating.
