Bedford – Judith (Judy) D. Flinn McCracken, 83, of Bedford, passed away at 4:46 am on Monday, December 11, 2023, at I.U. Health Bedford.

Born June 24, 1940, in Bedford, she was the daughter of Clifford R. and Frances M. (Roberts) Flinn. She was a 1958 graduate of Mitchell High School. She had been an accounting assistant for Stone City Products for 30 years and a member of the Mitchell Church of Christ.

Survivors include a daughter, Julie A. Beaty and husband, Bob, of Bedford; a son, Richard “Rick” McCracken and wife, Laura, of Bloomington; a granddaughter, Sabrina Beaty (Tre Gilbert), of Bedford; three step-grandchildren, Ben Carroll and wife, Jenna, Andrew Carroll and wife, Meg, and Cameron Carroll and wife, Elli; seven step-great-grandchildren; a brother, Tom Flinn and wife, Nancy, of Newark, OH; five nieces and nephews; twelve great nieces and nephews; two great-great nieces. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 am on Friday, December 15th in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary. Burial will follow in Pinhook Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Thursday, December 14th and from 10:00 am until the hour of service at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
