Obituary of Mary A. Aliano

Odon – Mary A. Aliano, 88, of Odon, passed away at 8:58 pm on Friday, December 8, 2023, at Memorial Hospital in Jasper, IN. Born June 22, 1935, in Bedford, she was the daughter of Zack and Fern (Clark) Elliott. She married James Aliano, Jr. on April 6, 1953, and he preceded her in death on April 14, 2003. She was a homemaker and attended the Bethel Christian Church. Survivors include a daughter, Jamie Hill (David), of Mt. Juliet, TN; four sons, James Douglas Aliano, of Springville, Kevin Dale Aliano, of Evansville, Gregory Scott Aliano, of Owensburg, and Vincent Keith Aliano (Michelle), of Bloomington; four grandchildren, Justin Hill, Hayley Shaddix, Luke Aliano, Lyssa Aliano, and Vinnie Aliano; four great-grandchildren; a brother, Joe Elliott, of Bedford. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, seven brothers, Benny, Jim, Herb, Larry, Doo-dad, Dave and John. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 am on Wednesday, December 13th in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Rev. Jason Miller, Rev. Dave Self and Rev. David Hill officiating. Burial will follow in Cresthaven Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from 10:00 am until the hour of service on Wednesday at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
